Pat Moore Foundation Celebrates 30 Years of Recovery
(PRWEB) October 10, 2013 -- Pat Moore Foundation is proud to announce it will be celebrating 30 years of recovery on October 18, 2013 with a speaker reception at their alcohol and drug treatment facility in Costa Mesa, CA from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The reception will include speakers who support the addiction recovery community.
Starting with a six bed drug treatment center in Santa Ana, CA, Pat Moore Foundation soon relocated to Costa Mesa, CA, and has since grown into a one hundred and sixty bed facility. The co-ed facility provides alcohol and drug detox and treatment programs that are certified and licensed by the state of California. In addition to the unique co-ed facility, the staff at Pat Moore Foundation are involved in their own recovery process, which tends to offer a perspective to patients during their own recovery process.
“A 30th Anniversary is quite the milestone for any business, especially one in the field of addiction recovery, says Phil Allen, Chief Executive Officer of Pat Moore Foundation. “As an alumni and CEO I could not be any prouder of the work we do, and it’s through hard work and dedication from staff and clients that we continue to build our community.”
The 30th Anniversary event will include speakers from the addiction recovery community, including: Jon Lieberman, the Executive Director of Visions Treatment in Malibu, CA; Dr Timothy Morgan, renowned Hepatitis C specialist from UC Irvine; and District 74 State Assemblyman, Allan Monsoor.
Pat Moore Foundation offers long term alcohol and drug treatment modalities that focus on providing a safe place for addicted individuals. The detox and treatment facility offers residential housing that allows clients to step away from their unhealthy living situations. It’s during this time of healing when Pat Moore Foundation arranges special excursions to individuals who might also enjoy the many activities Orange County has to offer. These excursions help ease the transition back into mainstream life and socialization with the alternative therapies. .
“We have a national reputation because people get clean and sober here, and stay clean and sober,” adds Phil Allen. “We started this so anybody could afford treatment, and we’ve had people come here from all over the world. There’s nothing better than to have someone call you from Rhode Island to just say, ‘Thanks, I’ve had three years sobriety, I’m getting married and I just wanted to say thanks.’ There’s just nothing better than getting that phone call,” Allen said.
