New Patient Education Service from Vivacare Helps Medical Professionals Deliver Health Education at the Point of Care

The Health Library provides patients with health information from the source they trust most.…their own doctor. The Library can be easily integrated into the practice website, enhancing it with in-depth resources for patients to learn more about their condition and treatment options. The educational content is personalized with the medical practice name and easily customized to reflect the professional’s medical specialty and unique approach to care.
The new Vivacare service includes several major enhancements including mobile-friendly content, a new interface and the addition of over 400 new patient education titles. The content has been organized into disease education modules, or "Centers", with up-to-date resources. For instance, the “Asthma Center” provides printable handouts on different types of asthma and asthma medications, videos on how to use an inhaler, an asthma diary that helps patients track their asthma symptoms, and other asthma management tools. In addition, the number of Spanish-language titles has been expanded to serve the needs of Spanish-speaking patients.
