Alamo Pawn Shop Donates to Nursing Home, Special Needs Group
Springfield, FL (PRWEB) October 09, 2013 -- Alamo Pawn Shop recently gave gifts to two different community organizations, as it strongly believes in supporting the community it’s a part of.
Alamo gave a gift of books on tape to the Sims Veterans Nursing Home for residents there who still enjoy books, but can’t read them anymore.
Alamo also gave a monetary donation to the ARC, an advocacy group for the rights of all with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Pediatrics Plus, a group that provides a variety of services for children with special needs, and Special Programs for Special Kids.
“We support our community because we are a part of the community,” said Alamo co-owner Terri Bunch.
