There are so many wonderful things we take for granted in America, and helping these children to experience the pure joy of Disney World at least once is a gratifying reward in and of itself

Sunstate Insurance, a family owned insurance and financial planning firm serving business and residential clients throughout the Miami-Dade County region, is initiating a charity effort to support Fundación Internacional Amigos del Niño con Cáncer, an international nonprofit organization that makes dreams come true for South and Central American children diagnosed with cancer.

Since 1995, Fundación Internacional Amigos del Niño con Cáncer (FANC) has worked to bring groups of children from third world countries who have been diagnosed with cancer to Orlando so they can visit Disney World and other nearby theme parks. Many of these children struggle with very difficult circumstances, and they come from as far away as Venezuela to enjoy their magical journey.

“There are so many wonderful things we take for granted in America, and helping these children to experience the pure joy of Disney World at least once is a gratifying reward in and of itself,” says Michael Martinez, a family representative for Sunstate Insurance who volunteers time to the FANC effort.

Along with the Sunstate Insurance team, Michael and agency owner Mary Martinez are reaching out to families and business owners throughout the Miami area to generate support and donations for the FANC charity drive. Sunstate Insurance will also be publishing a feature article discussing the charity event in an upcoming edition of the firm’s online magazine “Our Hometown”: http://www.sunstateinsuranceco.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_39.

FANC marks the first charitable effort undertaken by Sunstate Insurance as part of an ongoing charity involvement campaign called “Agents of Change.” As part of this campaign, the firm will be working to assist a new charity or nonprofit organization every sixty days.

Readers that want to join Michael, Mary, and the Sunstate Insurance team for the FANC charity drive are encouraged to make a positive effort in support of the cause by visiting the following page and taking action: http://www.sunstateinsuranceco.com/Aiding-Our-Community’s-Kids-With-Cancer_12_community_cause.
