Adventure Dental of Vancouver, WA invites parents of special needs children and any other interested community members to a 4-week series of programs about overcoming the challenges that come with raising a special needs child. The programs began in February and are held on a monthly basis at the Adventure Dental office, popular pediatric dentists in Vancouver WA. Online registration will give you access to the first two programs that already passed and give you the ability to access the next two programs online after each event takes place.

The first program was called Unleashing Your Child's Hidden Potential and featured Charles and Conceicao Solis of REACH Family Institute. Mr. and Mrs. Solis shared strategies and insights on how parents can look past their child's physical or mental limitations to see their true potential.

March's program featured Heather Schwarz and Alicia Like of Autism Behavioral Consulting. They discussed how parents can address challenging behavior in the room and what actions they can take to correct the behavior.

The two remaining programs will be held on April 17 and May 29. The April program will feature Eric Hamblin from PACE Place, who will discuss the E.A.S.E parenting method. The E.A.S.E method was designed by PACE professionals to help parents understand the emotional forces driving their child's behavior. The May session will focus on sensory processing disorder and will feature Sharon Donnelly of Advanced Pediatric Therapies.

Individuals who would like to attend the remaining programs are encouraged to register on the Adventure Dental Facebook page - a link can be found on the Adventure Dental website. Those that cannot make the remaining programs, but would like online access can go to the Adventure Dental website and register for their online access.
