MILFORD, Mass. (PRWEB) December 05, 2018
Photofabrication Engineering, Inc. (PEI) has introduced custom EMI/RFI shields that attach using off-the-shelf clips, can be surface mounted by pick and place equipment, and are easily removed without damaging the shield or board-mounted components.
PEI Snap-On EMI/RFI Shields are made to customer specification from nickel-silver to precisely protect components from radio frequency/electromagnetic interference and environmental hazards and provide electrical grounding.
Shipped flat or fully formed, they feature etched fold lines for precise bending and notches to securely snap into the clips.
Supplied loose or on tape and reel for automated assembly, PEI Snap-On EMI/RFI Shields can be produced in any thickness from 0.005” to 0.025”.
The firm can also custom design board level fences with mating covers and work with a variety of materials including brass, tin, tin-lead, copper, and cold-rolled steel which can all be provided with solder-able plating.
PEI Snap-On EMI/RFI Shields are priced according to configuration, quantity, and customer requirements. Price quotations are provided on request.
