Penny Thurnau of Powernet Honored as One of CRN's 2019 Women of the Channel
Powernet's VP of strategic alliances as recognized as one of CRN's 2019 Women of the Channel.
CINCINNATI, May 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Powernet, Enabling you to connect, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Penny Thurnau, Vice President of Strategic Alliances to its prestigious 2019 Women of the Channel list. The leaders on this annual list are from all areas of the IT channel ecosystem; representing technology suppliers, distributors, solution providers, and other IT organizations. Each is recognized for her contributions to channel advocacy, channel growth and visionary leadership.

Thurnau was chosen to take over as Powernet's channel lead after the previous channel VP stepped down. She began rebuilding Powernet's channel presence by renewing relationships with many master agents and sub-agents, keeping them informed of Powernet's newest offerings. Through her initiatives Powernet saw a 500% increase in channel revenue within the first year. Penny was also elected to serve on the Alliance of Channel Women's Board of Directors in addition to working with the local Dayton, Ohio chapter's planning committee and co-chairing the committee.
