PEPPM Purchasing Cooperative Seeks Sealed Bids on 163 Technology Products
Milton, PA (PRWEB) September 23, 2013 -- The PEPPM purchasing cooperative is seeking sealed bids for more than 163 brands of technology products in a national invitation to bid now being advertised in 7 newspapers across the United States.
The bidding and technology program will accept bids from qualified companies until Monday, October 18, 2013, 3:00 p.m. eastern time through online bidding eCommerce technology provided by the Epylon Corporation at http://www.epylon.com.
PEPPM is the 31-year-old cooperative purchasing program for schools, universities, and other public agencies operated by the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit, a political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This past year the PEPPM program has served nearly 1,500 public agencies in U.S. communities among 46 states by providing piggybackable purchasing contracts to the public sector, thereby lowering total cost of acquisition.
Interested and qualified vendors should register as a supplier at http://www.epylon.com, and choose the category of “Technology: Computers, Printers, Network Equipment.” Bid documents will be available online and sent to the inbox of vendors registered in the technology category. Bids are due by 3:00 p.m. eastern time, Friday, October 18, 2013. Some paper documents must be submitted by the due date in addition to electronic submissions.
Bids will be opened publicly Monday, October 21, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. eastern time at CSIU headquarters, 90 Lawton Lane, Milton, PA.
Among the requested products are lines of computers, networking equipment, software, hosted application services, copiers, furniture, tablets, audio-visual equipment and other electronic equipment and supplies.
