Per Wickstom Looks at the Worst and Best Parts of Working in the Rehab Industry in Latest Blog Post
(PRWEB) February 20, 2014 -- In his latest blog post at http://www.PerWickstrom.com, Per Wickstrom, noted speaker, author, philanthropist, entrepreneur and CEO of Best Drug Rehabilitation, has highlighted what are in his opinion the best and worth parts of working in the rehab industry.
“The worst part of working in the rehab industry is, without question, when a client doesn’t successfully make it through the process,” commented Per Wickstrom, who struggled with addiction as a youth and has since dedicated his life to helping addicts and their families. “However, no matter how hard professionals in accredited treatment facilities work each day, the reality is that rehab is by its nature an uphill challenge – especially since many people don’t even consider rehab, or accept that they need it, until their addictions issues have become very advanced and substance abuse has essentially taken over their lives.”
However, the ever-optimistic Wickstrom is quick to point out that the best thing about working in the rehab industry is the success stories:
“Words can’t describe what it feels like to see an individual reclaim their life and discover, to their amazement, that they don’t need drugs or alcohol to survive – and they never have. And that’s why no matter how difficult or challenging things can become, the success stories are by far the best parts of working in this industry.”
