For the past eight years, Chase has been working with Homeboy Industries, an organization focused on providing job training, education, support and hope to former gang members and high-risk young adults.

On February 21st, 2015, the Stardust Penthouse on the rooftop of the Luxurious Beverly Hilton Hotel was transformed into Durkin Entertainment’s EcoLuxe lounge, sponsored by Per Wickstrom, the founder of Choices Recovery, a holistic center for the treatment of addiction. The EcoLuxe Lounge, an event that showcases some of the world’s top providers of socially conscious and ecologically sound products and services, is organized by Debbie Durkin, the leading placement producer of sustainable products in TV and film.

Many contributors to Hollywood’s entertainment industry stopped in to enjoy the breathtaking view of the impressive Los Angeles skyline, including TV and film star Chase Masterson, who has had roles on many projects, including General Hospital, ER, The Flash and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

“Speaking with Chase Masterson at the EcoLuxe Lounge this evening was an absolute delight,” commented Per Wickstrom afterwards. “Her sincerity in the stories she shared with us about helping others was truly touching, and it just goes to show that there is still some good left in humanity. If more people were as ready and willing to lend a hand as Chase is, the world would be a much better place.”

Help Through Homeboy Industries

For the past eight years, Chase has been working with Homeboy Industries, an organization focused on providing job training, education, support and hope to former gang members and high-risk young adults, allowing them to turn their lives around before it’s too late and helping them to become fully functioning and contributing members to society. “I’ve been working with these kids to get them off very, very serious, life-threatening drugs,” Chase told Per. “We’ve lost some kids, but we’ve helped some kids. A lot of them. It’s because of programs like yours (Choices), and it’s because of people that will reach out and will care.”

Other notable attendees at the EcoLuxe Lounge included: Elise Robertson (Oscar Nominee American Sniper Best Picture), Jason Canovas (Oscar Nominee The Hobbit: Sound Editing), Elizabeth Yianni-Georgiou (Oscar Nominee Guardians of the Galaxy: Achievement in Makeup and Hairstyling), Lisa Bruce (Oscar Nominee The Theory of Everything: Best Picture), Ben Wilkins (Oscar Winner Whiplash: Best Sound Mixing), Kevin Sorbo (Hercules), Claudia Wells (Back To The Future), Jason Davis (Celebrity Rehab), Frank Stallone (Rocky), and many more.
