Galveston, TX (PRWEB) August 19, 2013
Galveston personal injury attorney Gene Hagood of Hagood & Neumann has been selected as a 2013 Texas Super Lawyer©, an honor bestowed upon Texas lawyers based on both peer recognition and professional achievement.
This is the eleventh year in a row that Hagood has been nominated and selected as a Texas Super Lawyer. In addition, the personal injury lawyer was also selected by H-Texas Magazine as one of Houston’s top lawyers for 2013.
“Our goal at Hagood & Neumann has always been to provide our clients with exceptional legal service. I am honored to have been voted both a Texas Super Lawyer and one of H Texas Magazine’s top attorneys” Hagood said today. “Our firm has earned the respect of our peers because we work hard every day to protect the rights of clients. We investigate cases from every angle, and while doing so, make sure that we maintain a balance, dignity, respect and sensitivity toward our clients.”
According to the Super Lawyers website, to be selected as a Texas Super Lawyer, a multi-step process is used beginning with formal and informal nominations. Each candidate is then researched by a panel of attorneys based on their qualifications, certifications, and accomplishments.
After each nominee has been reviewed, they’re subjected to a “blue-ribbon review,” the Super Lawyers website explains. Based on areas of practice, nominees are then reviewed by their peers. Nominees are then grouped together by their practice area, size of their firm, and then ranked on a scale of 1-10.
Only 5 percent of lawyers in each state are selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers, according to the website.
