The hope is to raise awareness about driver safety in order to minimise the amount of accidents that occur on Britain's roads.

Manchester, Greater Manchester (PRWEB UK) 1 May 2014

Personal Injury Solicitors Manchester - a new local personal injury solicitors firm - are pleased to announce the sponsorship of Imolayrton.com, a website created in memory of the 20th anniversary of Ayrton Senna's death.

The website in question, http://www.imolayrton.com, has information on Senna's achievements throughout his F1 career, records he holds, famous quotes of his, information, and a trailer on the 2010 film documentary named “Senna” that was directed by Asif Kapadia. It is designed to provide some topical information on Ayrton Senna to people who were inspired by him and want to learn more about him, his life and his racing career.

“The hope is to raise awareness about driver safety in order to minimise the amount of accidents that occur on Britain's roads, educate and inspire people via Senna's achievements and life story, and help raise funds that will be given 100% to charities like the Ayrton Senna Foundation,” says John Jones, the owner of Personal Injury Solicitors Manchester.

Driver safety is probably the biggest that Ayrton Senna has left behind. After his death, his good friend Professor Sid Watkins was commissioned by the FIA to drastically improve the safety of F1 motor sport. The safety features that Professor Watkins implemented have payed dividend as Ayrton Senna's death has been the last one to date in formula 1.

Imolayrton.com includes a featured products widget which contains products like the 2010 Senna documentary which people can purchase through which results in a commission for the website. 100% of the commissions generated will be donated to the Ayrton Senna Foundation and amongst some local UK charities.

Mr Jones has stated that his firm will match all commissions generated throughout May in the hopes of raising enough to help UK charities that help with the after care and support of people who are injured in road traffic accidents, such as Brake, BIRT and BUSK.

“We believe it is good to give back to the community, and since the population of the UK is increasing, so are the number of cars on the road, which means more accidents are statistically bound to happen. We also believe in the old saying of prevention is better than cure, and if we can help prevent some accidents from happening on Britain's road, this can only be a good thing,” says Mr. Jones.

“We do see a lot of claims coming in from road traffic accidents where a lot of younger people who like to race on the road, are involved, so the Ayrton Senna website will hopefully show that racing is a great sport, but should only be kept on the race track and not on UK roads.”
