Diamondback Drugs, Veterinary Compounding Pharmacy, Welcomes Three New Sales Professionals
Scottsdale, Arizona (PRWEB) March 03, 2015 -- Diamondback drugs, Veterinary Compounding Pharmacy, would like to invite our valued stakeholders to join us in welcoming three new team members to our roster.
Anne Borelli
Anne Borelli, Diamondback Drugs’ new Northern California-San Francisco territory manager has always had a passion for animals. She’s a long-time equestrian and her personal menagerie includes Siamese cats, Nigerian dwarf goats, and horses large and small.
Borelli began her sales career in the high-tech military aerospace/military defense world, and while her successes in that sector were impressive, she couldn’t deny her life-long passion for horses. So she made a career change, becoming an equine veterinary assistant.
Since then, Borelli has gained extensive experience in the veterinary and pharmaceutical sales field, having worked as high-level sales professional for Patterson Veterinary, Schein Animal Health, and Freedom Health.
How fitting it is that Borelli’s career path includes both cutting-edge technology and veterinary experience – an intersection that Diamondback Drugs is quite familiar with. We look forward to seeing Ms. Borelli build on her already impressive credentials, during her time with Diamondback Drugs.
Scotty Dale Simmons
Scotty Dale Simmons is no stranger to the pharmaceutical world. After earning his BA in Communications from Anderson University, he began his sales career with Sanofi Synthelabo, just before the Aventis merger.
Since then, he’s spent more than a decade in the medical, compounding, and pharmaceutical sectors. For five of those years, he served at Shertech Compounding and Nuclear Medicine, so his skill set is expected to dovetail quite nicely with his future undertakings at Diamondback.
For a brief time, Simmons branched out into the energy sector, taking a position that allowed him to travel abroad as a global projects director. On his return to the States, he made a foray into the oil and gas market, but soon realized that his heart was in pharmaceutical sales.
Simmons recalls his introduction to pharmaceutical compounding well, remembering that he “was quite impressed with the value it offered clients and the way it set practitioners apart from the rest of the pack.” His joining the team at Diamondback as North Carolina territory manager is no accident, and his experience and enthusiasm for the art and science of compounding should make him a natural fit.
Paul McMakin
Paul McMakin is 20-year veteran of the pharmaceutical and medical sales sector. He cut his teeth as a hospital representative with Jones Medical, a small startup, where his initial territory consisted of Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Michigan, and Indiana.
When Jones Medical expanded into the northwest, Paul seized the opportunity for a change of scene. And when King Pharmaceuticals purchased Jones Medical, McMakin stayed on, taking on a variety of roles and augmenting his already award-winning sales record.
With two decades in pharmaceuticals, two teenage children, and 25 years of marriage under his belt, it would seem that Mr. McMakin is certainly the dedicated type, a quality that will serve him well as Diamondback’s Washington state representative.
