We designed the Petpuls collar with voice recognition technology to help owners better understand how their dog feels and to create meaningful communication between dogs and their humans.
SAN FRANCISCO (PRWEB) October 15, 2020
Petpuls, the AI-powered dog collar that gives your dog a 'voice, today announced it has won a silver Stevie® Award in the 17th Annual International Business Awards® for Products and Services in the Best New Product or Service of the Year - Consumer Products - Durables category. Petpuls received honors for its AI-powered dog collar, specifically developed to help dog owners worldwide better understand and manage their dog's emotional and physical well-being and entire 10 - 15+ year lifespan. The Petpuls AI-powered dog collar is currently available to purchase through the Petpuls website.
"The growing trend for pet humanization and changing consumer preferences have made pet owners increasingly conscious of their pets' health," said Vincent Kim, CEO and founder of Petpuls. "We designed the Petpuls collar with voice recognition technology to help owners better understand how their dog feels and to create meaningful communication between dogs and their humans. We're pleased to have been recognized for this prestigious award and our ability to give dogs a voice.”
The Petpuls collar utilizes voice recognition technology to analyze a dog's emotional well-being, and also functions as an activity tracker with a built-in accelerometer sensor that calculates the number of calories burned from exercise. Petpuls' patent-pending, AI-enabled voice recognition technology uses a proprietary algorithm developed in partnership with Seoul National University. The algorithm works in combination with a database of more than 10K bark samples from 50 breeds of dogs in four different sizes to detect and determine five different emotional states of a dog — happy, relaxed, anxious, angry or sad. The collar easily pairs via Wi-Fi with an iOS or Android smartphone app, which displays and tracks a dog's emotional state by day, week and month, and its physical activity and calories burned by hour, day, week or month. Petpuls' AI-driven database grows even more accurate over time, helping owners better comprehend their dogs' emotions and triggers and provide a better overall health plan and quality of life.
The Petpuls platform also includes a "My Pet Registration" feature where owners can create a unique profile for their dog, which also includes access to the Petpuls Community and a "Pet Favorites" feature, e.g., food, toys and dog friends who are also registered as part of the Petpuls Community.
The award committee was highly impressed with Petpuls' system, with one judge noting, "I have nothing to comment on this nomination other than "incredible." It should be the most modern dog collar in the world that can give a dog a 'voice.' Moreover, its specifications are high-tech and so impressive."
