The SD SHRM Workplace Excellence Award is based upon employee nomination and a comprehensive application and screening process conducted by human resource experts throughout San Diego, and highlights the value and impact HR leadership contributes to an organization’s success and profitability. Workplace Excellence Award winners were evaluated in the following areas: innovative corporate culture, diversity, employee growth and learning opportunities, and a flexible work environment.
Pettit Kohn was also recognized as one of San Diego’s Top Workplaces. WorkplaceDynamics, an employee survey company, joined forces with the U-T to find the best employers in San Diego. Team members of companies with 50 or more employees were asked to nominate worthy employers. WorkplaceDynamics conducted comprehensive employee surveys for 862 San Diego County companies - only 40 were honored as Top Workplaces.
