Author P. G. Simmons Unveils a Poignant Tale of Love and War in New Book

About the Author
P. G. Simmons is a writer and longtime transplanted Southerner who makes her home with her husband on a small farm outside of Cincinnati, Ohio. She enjoys sculpture, photography, digital design, and writing. Happily married to the same man for over 33 years; they have one son. She received a BFA from the University of Central Florida and holds a second BFA and MA from Ohio University. Growing up in the heart of Dixie, she was inundated with anecdotes, stories, and Southern traditions. She has woven bits of her own Southern heritage into her first novel, “Gathering Shadows.” She is a digital designer and sculptor. She has done freelance design work for over 15 years. They started their photography studio over 28 years ago, and she still shooting professionally although she has retired. She received a BFA in Sculpture from the University of Central Florida and a BFA in Graphic Design and a MA in Art from Ohio University.
