Philly’s Cafe & Deli Helping Soles4Souls Fight Extreme Poverty
Hilton Head Island, SC (PRWEB) October 27, 2016 -- Michael Kadar, owner of Philly’s Cafe & Deli, is proud to announce the restaurant, located at 55 New Orleans Road, Suite 102, Hilton Head Island, SC, is now an official Soles4Souls drop-off location, where he will be collecting donated shoes. “I strongly encourage everyone in the community to drop by Philly’s Cafe & Deli and drop off a new or gently worn pair of shoes to help Soles4Souls fight poverty,” said Kadar.
Soles4Souls aims is to eradicate extreme poverty by 2050. Children every day are prevented from attending school and adults are unable to work as walking becomes unbearable, which perpetuates the cycle of poverty. To date, Soles4Souls has collected and distributed more than 26 million pairs of shoes to those in need in 127 countries around the world and all 50 states in the U.S.
“Every pair of donated shoes counts, and can provide relief today so thousands can succeed tomorrow,” concluded Kadar. “Everybody in the world should have at least one good pair of shoes.”
