David Orr, President, says customers have been increasingly requesting slideshow movie services. After about three months of testing, DPSDave.com is finally ready to unveil these slideshows to all customers.
"We’ve had a lot of customers calling and asking if we do these slideshows -- and as we’ve investigated and inquired with other customers, we’ve found that there’s a high demand for this service," Orr says.
DPSDave.com's slideshow movies will stand out from the company's competitors thanks to their high definition video, fade transitions, pan and zoom on the images themselves and background music.
"When people hear of slideshow movies, they simply think of a picture changing from one picture to the next," Orr says. "Most slideshows are a little abrupt, with no transition and no movement. In our slideshow movies, we do a very slight pan and zoom on each picture, so it’s not just still but doesn't have too much movement either -- just a touch."
Orr says he discovered that slideshow movies have a tremendous emotional impact while DPSDave.com was testing its slideshows. As a result, the company has already seen hugely positive customer response.
"We’ve had great customer feedback -- even the toughest of guys have cried after watching movies we’ve made for them," he says. "We love helping our customers honor their memories. Music, especially, makes photos look better for some reason; we’ve come up with very strong evidence of that."
These movie slideshows are just the first step in DPSDave.com's efforts to expand its products and services to meet its customers' needs.
