During Summer 2015, DPSDave.com, LLC has put forth new efforts to expand their business with the addition of two new staff members. The Philomath-based company has invested into new lean manufacturing techniques, along with training, project management, and production flow optimization in order to assure successful growth without compromising quality.

Since their expansion efforts began, DPSDave.com, LLC has hired two new employees to help keep up with their growth. The company is proud to introduce Kaylee Nicholas and Patrick Mahoney.

Kaylee Nicholas, one of the two newest additions to the DPSDave.com, LLC team, now handles order processing, production planning, and parts of customer communication. Kaylee is currently enrolled at Oregon State University, and is studying to be an elementary school teacher after she graduates in 2017.

Patrick Mahoney, the second new employee, is responsible for the workplace and work flow development, along with the development of the mechanical and electrical systems. Patrick has acquired multiple Masters certificates in Lean Six Sigma, a manufacturing efficiency technique which relies on collaborative team effort.

In addition to the two new employees, DPSDave.com, LLC plans to hire more operators, and plans to create more entry level jobs in the future. To address complex technologies, Kaylee has been involved in strengthening the company's training in preparation for the new employees.

"While it may be faster to do it yourself than to teach others, this doesn't result in an efficient business," says Kaylee. "Dave has shown great patience in teaching me the ropes and as I embark onto new stages in the company, I hope to exemplify this same sort of patience and understanding."

The new training program will include improving the training documentation, and developing videos that teach employees how each step of the process works. DPSDave.com, LLC believes that this will reduce the time it takes to find, train and implement new operators when hiring.
