NEW YORK, March 11, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- PhotoShelter, the worldwide leader in visual asset management for professional photographers and organizations, today launched Vision Slightly Blurred, a weekly podcast and Instagram TV series that will explore photography's impact on society and the way we communicate today. Professional photographers and enthusiasts can subscribe to the podcast via Spotify, Apple Podcasts, iTunes and Google Play or tune in directly here: photoshelter.com/podcast.
Vision Slightly Blurred will dig into timely topics related to the evolution of photography -- including an analysis of trailblazing photographers shaping the industry, a look at how technologies like facial recognition alter our relationship with images, plus discussions around the greatest challenges facing creatives today.
The Instagram TV and podcast series will be hosted by two seasoned photography experts: Allen Murabayashi, the Co-Founder of PhotoShelter and Sarah Jacobs, the Senior Photo Editor at ONE37pm. Murabayashi is a longtime photographer, keynote speaker and photography thought leader and Jacobs, who was previously the Visual Features Editor at Business Insider, is a photo editor and professional photographer. Murabayashi and Jacobs will combine their diverse backgrounds to offer unique perspectives and analyses on how photography is changing and impacting our world.
"Our relationship with photography is constantly evolving," says Allen Murabayashi, the Co-Founder of PhotoShelter. "We're hoping to illuminate issues at the intersection of photography, culture and technology that are relevant to professionals and non-professionals alike. And we're also excited to share our conversations across Instagram TV to better connect with those who love photography as much as we do."
Clips of Vision Slightly Blurred will be distributed on PhotoShelter's Instagram account via Instagram TV, which people can follow here: instagram.com/photoshelter. Each episode will also be shared on PhotoShelter's blog, alongside additional articles and resources related to topics discussed that week.
