Author targets wider audience with 2014 marketing push
BUCKHANNON, W.V. (PRWEB) December 22, 2014 -- “Celebration of success” by Phyllis Kohl Coston (Published by Author House) encourages persons with learning disabilities to follow their dreams.
“They can pursue educational opportunities beyond high school,” says Coston. “Many discovered their learning difference is a gift as well as a difficulty in achieving their goals.”
Coston presents real stories of learning disabled students, many of whom she says were told not to go to college because they couldn’t succeed. Despite these discouraging remarks, they attended and did succeed. Coston says that today they are business and professional people. Three of the persons not only had to cope with a learning disability but with cancer as well. “Celebration of Success” also includes a story of a girl who has been successful despite a traumatic brain injury.
“Celebration of Success” can provide encouragement to young people with learning disabilities. Chapters on tips for teachers and parents help make this book a good resource.
