PERTH, Australia (PRWEB) April 26, 2017
Inspired by walking on the Road to Santiago De Compostela, from Sarria, Tania Maree Herbert created a journal for people to record their daily reflections in while on pilgrimage entitled “Pilgrimage Reflections: My Journal” (published by Balboa Press AU).
Sharing what journaling has meant to her on her pilgrimage experiences and her inspiration for the book, Herbert encourages people to use the journal as a place to record and reflect on their own journeys. To give people ideas for writing, Herbert has a couple bullet points with things they might find useful before offering pages for users to write down the day, date and their reflections. At the end there is a notes section for drawings, contacts, etc. The book also includes pictures by Herbert and from Germán Limeres .
“I have always loved to write a journal whilst on travels, pilgrimages and holidays,” Herbert says. “The reflective aspect is drawn from my experience in adult learning. The benefits of reflection (are) to learn from (them) and grow. ”
