The Greater Ontario Convention and Visitors Bureau has been honored as a 2013 Successful Meetings Pinnacle Award Winner.

The award, announced this month by Successful Meetings Magazine, was conferred by a vote of meeting industry professionals and based on candidates providing superior service and quality to their clients.

“You and your entire staff have earned this award for going above and beyond to impress the demanding clientele of meeting owners and event and incentive planners with an unwavering commitment to hospitality and service,” said Successful Meetings Magazine Publisher John L. DeCesare in announcing the award to the team. “Your continued efforts have been noticed and appreciated.”

Greater Ontario CVB President and CEO Michael Krouse said he was proud to be recognized by those who know the industry best.

“Service is the foundation of everything we do,” Krouse said. “To be singled out by professionals as a Pinnacle Award winner is truly an honor.”

The Pinnacle Awards, announced annually, celebrate hospitality excellence by identifying the convention and visitors bureaus, hotels, and conference centers that set the standard for others to follow.
