PissedConsumer.com Helps Consumers Resolve Complaints With New Free Recorded Calls

Online consumer advocacy website, PissedConsumer.com, launched a new free recorded call feature to connect customers with companies to resolve consumer complaints before they're published.

The new tool allows consumers to speak live with company representatives while documenting those interactions in case problems still aren't resolved to their satisfaction.

U.S. consumer advocacy and customer complaints website, PissedConsumer.com, now lets customers place free recorded phone calls to companies' customer service departments before making a public complaint. These calls can be placed directly from the visitor's web browser or mobile device.

"We believe the opportunity to contact companies directly can help decrease the number of negative reviews a company receives," said Joanna Simpson of PissedConsumer.com. "The new tool allows consumers to speak live with company representatives while documenting those interactions in case problems still aren't resolved to their satisfaction."

Visitors to PissedConsumer.com can access the new recorded call feature on company pages as well as under the "Customer Service" tab found on those company pages. Users will receive copies of their recorded calls through email. This allows customers to maintain a library of their customer service calls, documenting their attempts to have issues resolved.

Free recorded calls are available to registered users only at this time. Visitors will be prompted to register for PissedConsumer.com when they attempt to make a recorded call if they aren't already signed in.

The new recorded call feature can be used from computers as well as mobile phones. Currently Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers are supported for desktop calls, though PissedConsumer.com plans to expand compatibility in the future.

"We want to help companies minimize the number of negative reviews they receive," said Simpson. "But, more importantly, we want to help consumers resolve their frustrations with companies before they feel a need to publish that negative feedback online. Our recorded call tool gives them that opportunity right at the time when they feel like they're out of options."

An example of the new recorded call prompt can be seen by visiting the "Make a recorded call to customer service" link at https://walmart.pissedconsumer.com or by clicking the "Call from computer" button on company customer services pages such as https://walmart.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html.
