We are truly touched by the mission of Art Expression. What could be a more worthy goal than to cultivate the creativity and social skills of our children? After all, they are the future leaders of our communities.
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) February 12, 2016
Young Asset Protection, a full service insurance agency serving families of the Pittsburgh metro area, celebrates the beginning of the latest charity campaign in their community enrichment program. Art Expression utilizes after-school programs to help children develop social skills through art. Donations to this worthy cause are currently being accepted at: http://artexpressioninc.org/.
Art Expression is a charitable organization founded in 2001 to alleviate social inequalities existing among children of different abilities and backgrounds. As a fully inclusive after-school program, it focuses on developing children’s social skills through art. Although art therapy is not performed during the sessions, some components of it are used to further the creative self-expression and skills of participants. Targeting tolerance, problem-solving, sharing, listening, verbalizing, and developing leadership, as well as reinforcing academic core standards, Art Expression has served over 7,000 children in school districts and community organizations in five counties in and around Pittsburgh.
“We are truly touched by the mission of Art Expression,” stated Megan Young, owner of Young Asset Protection. “This is exactly why we started our Community Program – to help local people on a grassroots level. What could be a more worthy goal than to cultivate the creativity and social skills of our children? After all, they are the future leaders of our communities.”
The caring team at Young Asset Protection is hard at work mobilizing support for Art Expression. To help achieve their goal of $500, the agency’s network of professional and personal contacts are invited to actively participate not only contributing financially, but also by helping spread the word to others in their own circles of influence. The agency also features the cause in their monthly magazine, which is delivered to thousands of households in the greater Pittsburgh area. The electronic version of the current issue of Our Hometown magazine may be viewed here: http://www.youngassetprotection.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_39.

Young Asset Protection will acknowledge all those who donate a minimum of $5 in a future issue of Our Hometown magazine. Putting their money where their mouth is, the agency has also pledged to donate $10 to the campaign for each and every referral they receive for an insurance quote, with no purchase necessary.
Young Asset Protection will continue to research new worthwhile opportunities to support the local community, promising to unveil a new campaign every two to three months. Concerned members of the community may also submit information on groups, families or individuals to be considered for future initiatives here: http://www.youngassetprotection.com/Add-Community-Cause_53.
