Dallas rhinoplasty surgeon, Dr. Rod J. Rohrich, together with co-author Dr. Jamil Ahmad, are pleased to announce the publication of the new reference book focusing on revision rhinoplasty: "Secondary Rhinoplasty by the Global Masters". Publication of this unique, two volume set was announced earlier this month at International Meeting of Rhinoplasty Societies (IMRHIS) taking place in Versailles, France and details the operative principles of revision rhinoplasty surgery.

Secondary Rhinoplasty by the Global Masters showcases and brings together for the first time in one book, the approaches and techniques from the a truly outstanding list of international revision rhinoplasty experts. Building upon the principles and concepts introduced in the third edition of its companion text, Dallas Rhinoplasty: Nasal Surgery by the Masters, this new title is an essential reference for guiding surgeons though the complexities and nuances of revision nasal surgery from cosmetic rhinoplasty to cleft nasal surgery.

This new reference book set features sections that showcase detailed techniques from more than 70 world authorities on revision rhinoplasty and over 3000 color photos covering the full range of aesthetic and reconstructive secondary rhinoplasty. The text also includes a digital supplement that provides 118 surgical video clips.

About Dr. Rod J. Rohrich

Dr. Rod J. Rohrich is a Distinguished Teaching Professor and Founding Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Rohrich graduated from Baylor College of Medicine with high honors, and completed his Plastic Surgery training at the University of Michigan Medical Center and fellowships at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard (hand/microsurgery) and Oxford University (pediatric plastic surgery). He is Chairman of the Dallas Rhinoplasty Symposium, Founding Chairman of the Dallas Cosmetic Symposium, President and Founding Member of the Alliance in Reconstructive Surgery, and a Founding Partner of the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute. Dr. Rohrich has also served as president of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the largest organization of board certified plastic surgeons in the world. He repeatedly has been selected by his peers as one of America's best doctors, and received one of his profession's highest honors, the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation Distinguished Service Award, an unprecedented three times, recognizing outstanding contributions to innovation, service, and education in plastic surgery. Dr. Rohrich participates in and has led numerous national and global associations and councils for the advancement of plastic and reconstructive surgery and medicine.
