Both the play structure and fabric shade structure were chosen in primary color schemes, which have been proven to stimulate young children and aid in cognitive development.

Central Texas 4C's Hal Rose campus offers a "Head Start" program to families in need, which includes daycare provision for infants to children up to 5 years old in the Temple area in Texas. Support systems are also available to children who have special educational or care requirements.

The Head Start folks chose APCPLAY to assist with the purchase and installation of quality playground equipment to augment outdoor fitness and play programs. The Peabody play structure was selected, and it offers six unique play activities to engage up to twenty-two children in fun and fitness. The structure is designed for children ages 2 to 12 years old, and promotes physical and cognitive development with their particular age group in mind.

The Peabody commercial play structure includes a Triple Rail Slide, 90° Curve Slide, and a Lily Pad Climber, all of which encourage fun and fitness. It also features a Store Front Panel to engage young imaginations in creative independent or group play. The structure is ADA accessible, and the playground was installed with rubber mulch safety surfacing material, plastic border timbers, and an ADA ramp that allows for easy traversing to and from the playground for children with mobility issues.

Central Texas 4C also selected the Discover Center Seedling play structure, which is specially designed for toddlers. It offers several play activities, including: a straight slide, a gear panel, shapes and colors rotary panel, a clock panel, bongo drums, and a rain wheel. It is a compact design that also offers a roto-molded plastic roof for keeping toddlers cool.

The school also elected to have a Fabric Shade Structure installed over the playground to help moderate temperature and protect young children from UV exposure. Both the play structure and fabric shade structure were chosen in primary color schemes, which have been proven to stimulate young children and aid in cognitive development. That's what the Head Start program at Central Texas 4C is committed to doing: offering young children all manner of educational and developmental opportunities.
