Plumwise Sets a New Standard for Finding Service Providers
Evanston, IL (PRWEB) March 04, 2014 -- Plumwise, a selective online community that allows members to share recommendations for the best service providers in their neighborhood, is celebrating the success of its recently launched online community with the release of version 2.0 of Plumwise.com and a cocktail party to introduce new members to Plumwise.
Co-founders, Alex Buck and Meagan Newman, two women with busy professional lives and 6 children between them, were frustrated with the online resources available for finding the best local providers for their household needs. They launched a beta version of Plumwise.com in September 2013 and have been thrilled with how members have engaged with the site.
“We give our members the one thing we all need—more time, by providing only the best providers to choose from without confusing or conflicting reviews,” said Alex Buck, Co-founder. “We do what our members would do, if they had the time to gather input, research and verify potential service providers.”
Plumwise members pay a monthly fee to access the constantly evolving database of recommended providers for a wide range of services—from healthcare to meal delivery, photographers to event planners—and the ability to solicit input from the community. One of the most popular features of Plumwise is the ability for a member to anonymously poll the Plumwise community if that member cannot find a particular service on the site.
On March 6, 2014 the start-up will host an event in Chicago, to introduce new members to Plumwise, celebrate the release of version 2.0 of Plumwise.com and allow an opportunity for guests to meet with some of the providers listed on Plumwise. Plumwise is a selective online community devoted to saving you time. We connect you to providers you will LOVE for services you need without endless reviews, vendor influence, or mediocre options.
Members contribute recommendations—we scrutinize, investigate and interrogate to determine whether a provider is Plumworthy. We do the work you would do if you had time to truly research provider options, and we give members only the top three providers in a category and neighborhood. In other words, Plumwise empowers our members to focus on what matters.
