Plustek Showcases Its Innovative New Document Scanners at 2016 ITEX
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (PRWEB) March 07, 2016 -- Plustek Technology Inc., a leading manufacturer of document, film and book scanners, will be showing off several new models at the ITEX Conference & Expo at Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale (Booth #1009), March 7-9, 2016. A highlight at the Plustek booth will be its eScan A150 which directly scans to SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook without a PC.

Plustek’s eScan A150 is a standalone scanner that is being touted for its ease of use and streamlining abilities. It allows end users to instantly power up the device for fast scanning, without the need of a PC. The built-in 7" LCD touch screen is intuitive and offers a quick way to review and edit before delivering the final image. Users can simply create their own personal profile to send or save final images in different file formats to multiple destinations such as: USB drive, network folder, mobile device, e-mail or a variety of cloud service providers such as Dropbox and Box.com.
The new Office 365 connector is able to manage the credential process and scan documents into SharePoint, OneDrive and Outlook and requires no PC to operate. Users just scan a document, input their login and password, browse through the folders and place the documents for the first time and be able to save multiple job buttons for various destinations of Office 365. IT administrators can even simplify the process more by pre-configuring the job buttons so each staff members has an assigned folder customized to their needs. Plustek also offers a variety of connectors for document management solutions, such as FileBound and eFileCabinet.
Plustek will also demonstrate its SmartOffice PS506U, SmartOffice PS458U and MobileOffice D430 at the 2016 ITEX show.
The SmartOffice PS506U is a newly launched 50 page-per-minute document scanner that features one of the most advanced document feeding and separation system in the industry. This system allows the SmartOffice PS506U to scan mixed batches of varying paper sizes and weights. It can handle everything from business cards to rigid identification cards and documents, by easily scanning both sides in just one pass. In addition to creating a searchable PDF, users can transform paper documents into other common image formats such as JPG and TIFF.
The Plustek SmartOffice PS458U is an 80 page-per-minute, duplex color document scanner that is not only fast, it is also incredibly reliable and cost effective. Ultrasonic mis-feed detection ensures all critical documents are captured correctly. Robust paper handling, advanced image processing and a high daily duty cycle of 8,000 pages all add up to the perfect departmental scanning solution for document management, content management and forms processing applications.
Plustek’s MobileOffice D430 is an easy-to-use countertop scanner with a compact design that is ideal for ISVs and Systems Integrators with vertical market applications that require ID, embossed card, and mixed sized document scanning up to 8.5x50”. The small footprint and 33 page-per-minute scanning speed make this scanner ideal for front desk applications at pharmacies, patient registration stations, bank teller counters. Nine customizable single-touch settings enable users to automate frequent scanning jobs and tasks.
