“Evanson is leaving massive shoes to fill...but we’ll do our best to fill the position by the start of 2020.” said Vice President of Human Resources Alma Brandenburg, SPHR.
MONACA, Pa. (PRWEB) April 23, 2019
Pocket Nurse® announced Tuesday it will begin interviewing to replace current Senior Vice President, William Evanson, CPIM, CIRM, CSSBB who is retiring in December 2019.
Evanson announced his retirement prior to the company Christmas party in December 2018. He’s been with Pocket Nurse for six years.
Pocket Nurse transitioned to a new facility in Monaca, PA and experienced its most successful year under Evanson’s direction, surpassing its annual goals by more than 11 percent in 2018.
“My time at Pocket Nurse was a tremendous experience,” said Evanson. “Pocket Nurse President and Founder Anthony Battaglia, [MS, BSN, RN] created an amazing company full of wonderful, hard-working people, and I expect Pocket Nurse to continue to grow and succeed in 2020 and beyond.”
Pocket Nurse hopes to fill the position by January 2020. “Evanson is leaving massive shoes to fill,” said Vice President of Human Resources Alma Brandenburg, SPHR. “It will be challenging to find a candidate as in-touch with all facets of the business, but we’ll do our best to fill the position by the start of 2020.”
The Senior Vice President is second-in-command under the President. He or she will be responsible for implementing the business strategy designed by Battaglia, overseeing the daily operational execution of the business, and leading the three vice presidents and their teams.
“Working with Bill was a great experience,” said Distribution Specialist II Fred Hull. “As a worker in the distribution center, I communicated with him daily.”
The job description for Senior Vice President can be viewed on the Pocket Nurse Career Site.
Evanson is retiring to his home state of Georgia to spend time with his family.
