Roy Lee “Simon” Jarmon Releases Third Volume in Book Series
PISCATAWAY, N.J. (PRWEB) September 19, 2017 -- After being diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, Roy Lee “Simon” Jarmon was asked by his psychologist to write about his feelings as a therapeutic exercise. He then writes “Poetry by Simon: God's Blessing My Jamaican ‘Gem’” (published by Xlibris). This is the third volume in his “Poetry by Simon” poetry, prose and short stories series.
The book is filled with deep, soulful, life experiences, expressing romance and love, hope and inspiration, coping and healing concerning real life situations. This easy-to-read book hopes to penetrate the heart, spirit and emotions of readers as they encounter everyday pitfalls, admit, cope with and solve them as they grow and develop to become better persons.
“The readers become the characters in this book as they get involved in its message,” Jarmon says. “Though the writings may not be specifically about them, I am sure they will be able to identify themselves in these writings: either they or someone who they know.”
“In this book, I present the true reality of today’s challenges that we all must face. I would also like to take away the fact that we are all very much alike in so many ways; especially the range of emotions and situations that we experience as human beings in this world in which we live,” Jarmon adds.
