My family/I could smell the aroma and was curious. I love this tea. The jasmine aroma does not over power the taste. I smelled and tasted berries and peach. The full tea display is a very nice presentation. It smelled like a big bowl of fresh fruit.
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) March 31, 2014
Pooki’s Mahi, a Silicon Valley etailer startup of award-winning teas, brown rock sugar and 100% Hawaiian coffees announced today the launch of the Blooming Tea Collection and Halo Tea. The goal is to expand the existing award-winning tea product line by including display (also known as blooming) teas customers buy.
Inspired by customer feedback on affordability, availability, taste, and aroma the teas in the Blooming Tea Collection all feature unique flavor combinations, memorable aroma and remarkable after taste. Customers provided feedback to Pooki’s Mahi and a Customer Advisory Board for over a year before launching a pilot of the collection last year.
“I love this tea. The jasmine aroma does not over power the taste. I smelled and tasted berries and peach. I met Les, Founder/CEO of Pooki’s Mahi at a Celebrity Red Carpet event. She did not pitch the teas to me for a sale, which I appreciated,” remarked Joe, a celebrity and repeat Pooki’s Mahi’s customer. He continues, “My family and I could smell the aroma and was curious which tea exuded this. The full tea display is a very nice presentation. The flowers opened up when I brewed it at home. No need to add sugar; however I added Nectresse Monk Fruit Sugar and noticed the berries and peach flavors were enhanced. It smelled like a big bowl of fresh fruit. It does not have the after-taste you find in many of the cheaper store brands.”
There is one Blooming Tea with plans to include more in 2014:
1. Halo (Blooming) Tea: Handsewn white tea leaves part to reveal an exotic peach colored lily and a string of amaranth and jasmine flowers. The flowering tea is also infused with blueberry and white peach flavors. Jasmine perfumes this lovely white tea elixir.
Pooki’s Mahi’s Blooming Tea Collection will expand in 2014 to include traditional and tropical flavors such as passion fruit, mangoes or pomegranate. The blooming teas’ base will be in green or white tea.
Pooki’s Mahi’s suppliers improved the packaging for these teas. Teas now come in a handy reusable standup pouch that include brewing instructions for each specific tea and ingredient list. The new packaging utilizes icons to assist customers in identifying key information such as caffeine level, number of cups served and allergy warnings. Customers make informed buying decisions.
Pooki’s Mahi’s Halo Tea tea available online now and can be purchased as a tea subscription and as part of the company’s Customer Referral Program, which offers rewards and discounts for new customer referrals. Free shipping is including in non-subscription purchases and subscription plans.
