Silicon Valley Startup Pooki’s Mahi No Longer Using Affiliate Sales Channel As A Revenue Source
Silicon Valley, CA (PRWEB) January 30, 2015 -- Pooki’s Mahi announced today it will no longer invest in an affiliate channel due to lack of revenues and poor performance. Qualified affiliates may apply for a wholesale account.
“Pooki’s Mahi continues record growth, brand recognition and customer acquisition. Pooki’s Mahi has high standards. Record revenue growth would not be achievable if various sales channels did not beat their target revenue numbers. Pooki’s Mahi’s affiliate channel launched late 2013 with high expectations. The affiliate channel cost over six figures to create, launch and manage. This resulted in less than $250 in sales. This is a negative ROI. Pooki’s Mahi’s affiliate channel was poorly set up. I made the decision to terminate program management in March 2014. We stopped onboarding affiliates in June 2014 and killed the affiliate channel in December 2014 per the contractual agreement with the affiliate network,” explains Pooki’s Mahi CEO Les Magsalay-Zeller.
She continues, “Pooki’s Mahi is not in the business to spend resources on a sales channel or product line that isn’t generating a positive ROI. Pooki’s Mahi continues to focus on revenue growth and will continue to invest in robust new product introduction plans and revenue generating sales channels such as wholesale, distributors and private label.”
