Pooki’s Mahi announced today it renewed efforts to identify a new fulfillment center to handle Pooki’s Mahi’s B2B customer orders and distribution. Pooki’s Mahi’s wholesale, distributor and private label channels are experiencing record growth. Pooki’s Mahi experienced one too many problems with the main fulfillment partners. Current fulfillment partners are suited for consumer or business to consumer (B2C) orders and do not have the technical capabilities to support Pooki’s Mahi’s growth.
“Kicked off an assessment for a go-to fulfillment partner to handle Pooki’s Mahi’s distributor and private label sales channels in November 2014. A pattern of inconsistent delivery, fulfillment and receiving errors for Pooki’s Mahi’s business customers in all operations centers led to the decision. Some errors included but not limited to orders not shipping out on the estimated time, incorrect product sent to wholesale customers and a lot of complaints of too much paperwork to fulfill the order,” says Pooki’s Mahi’s Founder/CEO Les Magsalay-Zeller.
She continues, “Interviewed about 50 firms and none have met the expectations. There are more fulfillment centers eager to fulfill B2C than B2B orders, do not have a global footprint or lack the technical prowess for web-based EDI, XML and reporting capabilities.”
Les explains, “A top priority for Pooki’s Mahi is find a new fulfillment center to handle B2B customer orders. I am eager to identify a new fulfillment center; however not rushing the decision. We continue to evaluate Pooki’s Mahi’s operations and fulfillment partners to ensure our growth can be supported due to bigger orders from our wholesale, corporate and distribution channels.”
