Pooki’s Mahi 100% Kona Coffee Pods Are Now Fair Trade Certified
Silicon Valley, CA (PRWEB) April 30, 2016 -- Beverage etailer startup of award-winning 100% Kona coffee pods, Pooki’s Mahi, announced today the entire 100% Kona coffee, 100% Maui Mokka and 100% Ka’u single serves are Fair Trade certified and compatible with 2.0 single serve coffee makers.
Pooki’s Mahi manufactures and distributes 11 different 100% Kona coffee, 10% Kona coffee blends, 100% Maui Mokka coffees, and 100% Ka’u coffee single serves for 1.0 and 2.0 single serve coffee makers. There are two manufacturing lines producing Pooki’s Mahi’s 100% Kona coffee single serves: NPI (New Product Introduction) and RR (Revenue Release, also known as mass production). Larger customers require product traceability, manufacturing inspections, specific certifications and a well-documented manufacturing QA inspection process. Pooki’s Mahi’s current NPI manufacture did not meet these requirements.
The Silicon Valley startup transitioned production for its 100% Kona, 100% Maui Mokka and 100% Ka’u coffees from a traditional NPI facility to a Fair Trade certified manufacturing facility. The Fair Trade certified 2.0 compatible single serve cups will ship in May.
