Pooki’s Mahi Implements Technical Upgrade To Prevent Resellers From Selling 100% Kona Coffee Pods Below Approved Pricing
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) May 17, 2016 -- Silicon Valley startup Pooki’s Mahi of private label and 100% Kona custom promotional products announced it is implementing a technical architecture upgrade on its online store to automate the onboarding process for wholesalers while prevent onboarding unqualified resellers.
Pooki’s Mahi has four wholesale programs:

Pooki’s Mahi’s wholesale 15% program is open to all customers looking for a 15% discount.
To resell Pooki’s Mahi’s award-winning 100% Kona coffee pods or other specialty products a Tax ID, business resellers permit and business insurance are required. Marketplaces like Amazon require proof of business insurance to sell the products. To qualify for Pooki’s Mahi’s distributor discount of up to 40% customers need to submit $85K worth of weekly orders. Pooki’s Mahi’s branded channel will launch separately. Minimums, a 50% deposit and payment required.
The manufactured approved price (MAP) is $47.99 for most of 100% Kona coffee pods. Pooki’s Mahi’s MAP price for 100% Kona Peaberry coffee pods is $57.99. Pooki’s Mahi’s repeat customers complained about the quality of 100% Kona coffee pods; product was purchased below the approved pricing.
Pooki’s Mahi’s reseller requirements are well documented since June 2015. The technical architecture upgrade enforces the requirements and process. It will also cut the time to onboard new resellers.

- Top 1% resellers handpicked by Pooki’s Mahi’s Founder/CEO outsold the 1000 resellers combined.
- Pooki’s Mahi owns merchandising on marketplaces like Amazon, Overstock, Jet, etc. and on product discovery platform tools.
- Over 1000 resellers granted an account between 2012- June 2015.
- 990 resellers did not qualify due to missing business resellers permit and business insurance.
- Some resellers sold Pooki’s Mahi’s 100% Kona coffee pods below $47.99.
