New 70’s Retro Song Remake by Shawn Rae to be Released this Summer

The two different versions both sung by Shawn Rae will appeal to diverse audiences. The new retro version is meant to attract a younger generation of listeners, while the updated version will show a softer side to the tune, which will bring smiles to the faces of the now older generation that embraced the tune since its first release.
The young generation has shown a keen interest in the music of the 70’s. The fact that this new generation holds this interest could be perhaps due to the turmoil that is going on globally today, and therefore the young feeling a kinship with those from that era, who also lived through times of upheaval and unrest. The two musical remakes offer simple messages that allow relaxation from the turbulent times of today.

Shawn is releasing this new retro version of Puppet Man to honor this era and its distinctive style of music and costumes. The song communicates the story of a man who is so captivated by a woman that he is rendered helpless, and so refers to himself as a mere marionette or puppet. Shawn’s masculine voice makes it all the more irresistible to imagine one so strong to be so overcome by his love for a woman. Shawn’s remake brings a new twist to an old tune. Instead of feeling pity for the puppet, the listener is tempted to enter into the enticing world of the puppet.
