PortalGuard Announces PortalGuard Nebula - Bringing Secure Single Sign-On to the Cloud

PortalGuard Nebula is PistolStar's newest product innovation. Hosted as a Microsoft Azure VM and maintained by PistolStar's engineers, this new Identity as a Service (IDaaS) offering provides PortalGuard's strong two factor authentication, self-service password reset and single sign-on with less hassle.

PortalGuard is easy to install, configure and brand. It has given us the ability to allow our agents to self-service their Active Directory accounts, giving us a level of security we've needed but were unable to achieve before PortalGuard.

PistolStar Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of its newest secure Single Sign-on solution for the cloud: PortalGuard Nebula. PortalGuard Nebula is a hybrid, cloud-based solution based on the features and impressive success of PistolStar, Inc.’s flagship product: PortalGuard On-Premises. PortalGuard Nebula will allow organizations to further secure their logins with a single point of access, in order to reduce everyday login prompts and resolve other issues associated with password fatigue.

PortalGuard Nebula permits organizations to increase user satisfaction by minimizing logins and providing a secure, central portal to other cloud-based applications such as Office 365 and Google Apps. As a subscription-based service, PortalGuard Nebula is able to quickly scale up or down, depending on a the needs of an organization - all while providing a high level of security at a best in class price point. Pricing starts with Self-service Password reset functionality at $0.50 per user per month. For $1.50 per user per month, users will receive the all-inclusive package, which provides Single Sign-on (SSO) capabilities, Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), Self-service Password Reset (SSPR) and Contextual Authentication (CA). All prices listed herein are based on a typical SMB user count of 1000 users.

Alongside this wide array of functionality, customers are able to brand any aspect of PortalGuard Nebula in order to reduce end-user training or confusion within the environment. The close adherence to industry standards, such as ODBC, LDAP, SAML, WS-Fed, CAS and Shibboleth, ensures that PortalGuard Nebula will easily integrate with both current and future solutions.
