Fit Body Boot Camp in Portland launches “Bootcamp for Boobies,” a charity fitness boot camp campaign inspired by October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All proceeds collected will go to support the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.

In an effort to raise awareness and support October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Fit Body Boot Camp in Portland has launched “Bootcamp for Boobies,” a charity boot camp campaign whose goal is to raise funds for the non-profit organization Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Through the entire month of October, Fit Body Boot Camp Portland is offering their signature 14 Day Fat Furnace for $25 (originally priced at $67) as well as free boot camp for breast cancer survivors during any of their regular session times, and donating 100% of the proceeds to breast cancer research.

Excited to be delivering a fun and full-body workout to the community for a great cause, owner and operator of Fit Body Boot Camp Portland, local fitness expert Emily Johnson, felt that it was important to get involved. She explains, “I've known several women who have battled breast cancer and it's scary that there is no sure way to prevent it. It's an experience that no woman should ever have to go through and we are excited to be able to help fund research for the cure.”

Being a fitness professional for almost 10 years, first as a Yoga instructor then as a personal trainer, Johnson holds certifications through ACE, MovNat, and Training for Warriors. She has also completed the Wisdom Yoga Teacher Training and Ana Forrest's Yoga Teacher Training.

Located at 3228 SE 21st Avenue, Portland, OR 97202, Fit Body Boot Camp is open six days a week and holds sessions Monday through Friday at 6am, 7am, 8am, 9am, and on Saturday at 7 am, 8 am.
