Yogic Positive Thinking Weekend Retreat in California in December 2013 at Sivananda Yoga Farm
Sacramento, CA (PRWEB) December 15, 2013 -- Negative feelings and thoughts are one of the main reasons for stress. Nowadays, we live in a world full of negativity. Our minds are saturated and overloaded from local, national or world news. In this atmosphere, it is difficult for us to access an innate positive and joyful nature, and remember the goodness of men and the grace of God. One loses faith and doubts the path and worries about where the world is going. One needs to see clearly and take a break from our busy life to recharge and reconnect with the beauty and meaning of life. One cannot change the external but we can change our outlook. One cannot redo the past and it is not helpful to worry about the future, but one can live in the solid present and make the best of it.
There will be workshops and lectures specifically on the power of thoughts, how to be in the present, and how to turn negative feelings and thoughts to positive feelings. In this program, participants will learn how to manage stress and respond in a positive manner to challenges. Yoga psychology and philosophy have a wealth of techniques and information that will help us to cope.
The Yoga Farm also hosts a Yoga Nidra course, courses on Yogic philosophy, Yoga for back pain and ayurvedic retreats, and an advanced Yoga teacher's training course (ATTC). The Advanced Yoga Teacher's Training Course helps graduates to deepen their spiritual practice and their study of Hatha yoga, Vedanta philosophy, Raja yoga, anatomy and Sanskrit. The advanced class gives students an additional chance to practice under guidance in a supportive atmosphere, which provides many with a boost of energy and clarity.
