These initiatives benefit both the environment and enhance the living experience for our residents.

Post Brothers Apartments is already known throughout the industry for their focus on sustainability with Philadelphia rentals that are energy and water efficient and environmentally-friendly.

Matthew Pestronk and Michael Pestronk, founders of Post Brothers Apartments, have long been proponents of green building methods, and have always designed their buildings in a manner that shows their commitment to sustainability. Post Brothers Apartments include a number of energy-efficient components, such as Energy Star appliances, heavy insulation, high-efficiency light fixtures, thermal-insulated windows and advanced heating and cooling systems.

The company recently announced additional environmentally friendly upgrades, including a number of measures geared toward water conservation. Each apartment now includes appliances that use water efficiently throughout the entire apartment, most notably in the kitchen and bathroom. For outdoor water conservation, Post Brothers Apartments have introduced intelligent landscaping irrigation to keep water use and costs down.

“We believe that these initiatives are incredibly important for a number of reasons,” said Chirag Patel, Marketing Director for Post Brothers Apartments. “These initiatives benefit both the environment and enhance the living experience for our residents. Our residents understand that living in a green building can save our natural environment and money on monthly utility bills, in addition to conserving energy, reducing water consumption, and improving indoor air quality.”

Post Brothers Apartments has also taken steps to make their business practices more sustainable by reducing their company’s paper usage. Instead of paper-based documents and advertising materials, the company has opted for a web-based payment system for rent along with an expansive and informational website, significantly reducing the need for paper in operational functions.

According to a statement on their website, “Post Brothers considers the protection and enhancement of the environment in every step of our development and management processes so we can offer socially responsible residents the ability to live a green lifestyle at a price they can afford.”
