Succeed Management Solutions, LLC has released a new Personal Protective Equipment training course. It provides awareness-level PPE training for employees. This training provides an overview of the most common types of PPE encountered in the workplace, including how to use, wear, inspect, and maintain each type. The proper use of PPE is a shared responsibility. Employers must train all employees who wear it, and take the necessary measures to minimize exposures.
The last line of defense between an employee and potential harm is PPE. To maximize safety, employees need to be aware of and understand hazards they may encounter in the workplace. They must also be provided the right type of PPE and the knowledge of how to wear the PPE correctly and effectively.
Succeed’s Personal Protective Equipment Awareness for Employees course describes the purpose of PPE and the responsibilities as a wearer of PPE. The course explains best practices for the proper way to wear and use different types of equipment as well as information regarding organization’s responsibility to develop a formal written PPE program.
The training includes videos and embedded quiz questions for employees to apply their knowledge to ensure compliance with PPE best practices. This course is an easy and efficient way for an organization to educate employees, and help achieve OSHA compliance.
As with all Succeed courses, this training can be assigned to employees via Training Track™, an application that is designed to automate all aspects of an employee training program. Training Track™ is one of the available applications in Succeed’s web-based Risk Management Center.
