PrAna announced it’s partnering with environmental not-for-profit group Canopy to help protect the world’s forests by reducing its use of textiles made with wood pulp, such as rayon and lyocell.
“Reducing our use of textiles like rayon, which are made from the harmful extraction of forest fibers, has been an internal goal of prAna’s for the past few years,” said Nicole Bassett, prAna’s Director of Sustainability. “We track the origins of our raw materials so that we can make better, more sustainable choices when it comes to our supply chain.”
PrAna’s partnership with Canopy will help drive positive change for forest products. This fall, it is launching its CanopyStyle campaign to bring awareness to the wide-reaching issues surrounding forest fibers in fashion.
