Houston, TX (PRWEB) September 27, 2013
PreCheck, Inc. (http://www.precheck.com), a background screening and employment qualification services provider specializing in the healthcare industry, recently announced that Vu Do, Vice President of Compliance, has been elected to the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) Board of Directors. Do will serve a two-year term alongside other esteemed industry colleagues elected by the association’s members. NAPBS represents nearly 800 member companies in the US and internationally. The professional organization exists to foster ethical business practices and to promote compliance with federal, state, and international consumer protection laws that regulate background screening in employment and tenancy.
“I am humbled to receive this vote of confidence from my colleagues in the industry,” states Do. “The Board of Directors exists to serve members and lead our organization. More than ever, with recent events in the news focusing on the essential nature of background checks as well as other issues around screening, our commitment to educating members, lawmakers, consumers, and the public at large is absolutely critical. I am honored to represent and serve our association.”
Vu Do is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) and also holds an Advanced Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) Certification from NAPBS. She spearheaded PreCheck’s efforts in achieving NAPBS accreditation earlier this year. Do frequently presents at conferences and provides employer education on matters about background screening in hiring and employment. An active contributor to NAPBS since 2007, she previously co-chaired the Best Practices committee and is also a member of the Government Relations and Ethics committees.
“We could not be more proud of the valuable contributions that Vu has made to NAPBS, and we are honored to have our industry peers recognize her talents and efforts with this election to the Board of Directors,” said Zach Daigle, President and Chief Operating Officer of PreCheck. “Vu’s leadership will be a tremendous asset as our industry’s trade and accreditation organization continues its important work of ensuring the long-term success and viability of the employment and tenant screening industry.”
Vu Do’s election to the NAPBS Board of Directors was announced during the association’s tenth anniversary annual conference in Phoenix, Arizona earlier this month. The conference was attended by well over 600 members from across the U.S. and internationally.
