New Book Challenges Christians to Embody Spirit of Love
BOERNE, Texas (PRWEB) May 21, 2014 -- “In my 50 years of attending church, I’ve seen a lot of unloving things occur,” writes author Preston Rentz. “This has inspired me to write about how important it is that love remains at the core of all we teach and do.”
Rentz brings this message of love to his new book, “Christianity – What Love Has to Do with It” (published by WestBow Press).
“There is nothing more important, profound or wise than to abide in God’s love and to bring this love to others,” Rentz explains. “The person who loves the way God loves is alive, free and truly at peace.”
According to Rentz, the world is becoming less tolerant of the Christian message, and he believes Christians are partially responsible. He says some Christians are hateful toward gays and judgmental of anyone with different beliefs. This book asks Christians to bear a spirit of love to all they come in contact with, not just fellow believers.
“A life of love is a life above reproach,” says Rentz, “and there’s nothing today our culture needs more.”
