Primaris to Merge with Digital Collaboration Solutions
Columbia, Mo (PRWEB) September 21, 2016 -- Healthcare quality-improvement consulting and services firm Primaris announced that it has merged with Digital Collaboration Solutions (DCS), a consulting company that helps healthcare organizations improve care coordination and increase patient and provider engagement.
The merger will combine Primaris’ healthcare quality reporting and improvement expertise with additional knowledge of healthcare business practices, care delivery, and the effective use of technology.
“Healthcare is strongly moving toward a quality focus with value-based care and MACRA regulations,” said Richard A. Royer, CEO of Primaris. “This merger will help our clients nationwide improve quality of care and navigate all aspects of value-based care transformation, resulting in improved clinical outcomes and enhanced patient experience.”
“We understand the changing healthcare industry – pressures to reduce costs, new reimbursement models, and accompanying changes in care delivery – and have experience in how these changes align to market needs and competitive positioning,” said Michael Levinger, Founder/Chief Executive Officer of DCS. “Becoming part of Primaris, strengthens our foundation and together, we will help healthcare organizations transform the way they deliver care to improve quality and reduce costs."
Earlier this year Primaris made great strides in expanding its expertise by bringing the Excellence in Missouri Foundation and the Center for Patient Safety into the Primaris family. The Excellence in Missouri Foundation administers the Baldrige/Missouri Quality Award program and assists organizations on a journey to performance excellence. The Center for Patient Safety is a federally-listed Patient Safety Organization dedicated to promoting safe and quality health care.
“We have healthcare quality analytics expertise, healthcare delivery improvement expertise, Baldrige performance excellence expertise, patient safety expertise and now we have health IT and communications expertise,” said Royer. “Primaris now has the full expertise to address changes in healthcare and deliver measureable results and improved outcomes to our customers.”
Richard A. Royer will remain as Chief Executive Officer of the combined organization, and Michael Levinger will serve as Chief Operating Officer.
