Priya Raja felt that there was something missing from her experience in the educational system. When she started her research about this topic, she found new concepts about holistic education and spirituality that she shares in her book, “Bridging the Gap” (published by Partridge Singapore).

This book is about filling the gaps in the education system to create a more meaningful experience for students and society as a whole. In this book, Raja discusses her own experiences as a student in the education system. The backlash is against standardized testing and rigidity in the compounds of an educational institution—and that it is in a lacking state of spirituality. She speaks of a holistic education system and for it to adopt a more humane way of functioning. To invent new curricula that encompasses spirituality as a practical practice. This is a book that gives a voice and hope for a better education system.

“This book discusses concepts that are healing to the mind and for the betterment of the individual,” Raja points out. “It also shows readers the missing element of spirituality in the education system. I share my personal story which I believe could relate to my readers who have been through the education system.”

Through the publication of “Bridging the Gap,” Raja would like to convey the message that authentic learning often takes place beyond the confined four walls of the classroom and despite what society dictates, everyone can forge their path that could lead to greatness, love and light.
