Greg Adler and Team 4 Wheel Parts Set to Rise to Challenge in Utah
Compton, California (PRWEB) May 19, 2016 -- This weekend, Greg Adler and Team 4 Wheel Parts will be battling alongside the superstars of short course off road racing as the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series rumbles into the recently renamed Utah Motorsports Campus. The May 21-22 doubleheader will feature Adler racing against a stacked Pro 4 field as he seeks a return to the podium on the nine-tenths mile, purpose built off-road battlefield at the sprawling venue just outside of Salt Lake City. After capturing a pair of third place trophies in the first four rounds this season, including his most recent at Lake Elsinore in Round 4, Adler sits fifth in the standings. Now, as the series rapidly approaches its midway point, he heads to Utah looking to better his position.
“We’re continuing to make to make some strong headway with the new truck,” said Adler. “Running into trouble on Saturdays has been a challenge, but we’ve come back in Rounds 2 and 4 to finish both weekends strong. The goal going into Utah is consistency. We’re going to focus on strong qualifying efforts with solid starting positions and shoot for consistent, back to back results.”
Opened in 2006, the world class Utah Motorsports Campus, formerly known as Miller Motorsports Park, looms on the edge of The Great Salt Lake in the heart of the picturesque Tooele Valley. The premier site has hosted such events as the FIM Superbike World Championship, American Le Mans and Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car racing, the Pirelli World Challenge, the AMA Superbike Championship and the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. Now as the metal mashing mayhem of Lucas Oil Off Road Racing returns for its seventh consecutive year, the region’s passionate sports fans are expected to come out in droves to witness the spectacle of short course off-road racing.
“We are excited to return to Utah and the facility in Tooele and we’re pleased that this event has become a mainstay on the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series calendar,” said Adler. “I don’t think there’s anything on our schedule that gives fans the thrill of our 900 horse powered trucks flying through the air framed by a background of the scenic mountains of the Tooele Valley. We’re looking forward to putting on a great show for them.”
Nothing can replicate the excitement of a roaring herd of 900 HP trucks in person, but now if you can’t be there, you can catch the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series live on lucasoilracing.tv. The series will also be broadcast throughout the season on CBS, the CBS Sports Network and MAVTV.
