ProjecTools Inc. is now partnered with Proforma UK Ltd., an Enterprise Architecture Modelling and Business Process Improvement consultancy. Proforma provides process and system modelling, simulation, and analysis solutions as a service, specialising in the use of the OpenText ProVision EA modeling tool.
Proforma has over fifteen years’ experience in the EA (Enterprise Architecture) and BPA (Business Process Analysis) worlds. Proforma is known as a leader in the process planning and management space, and the addition of ProjecTools PLM (Project Lifecycle Management), AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction), and PPM (Project Portfolio Management) SaaS solutions will allow Proforma’s engineering and construction customers to experience, first-hand, the benefits of speedily-implemented, cloud-based, collaborative, industry-standard, automated workflow solutions.
Proforma works blue-light, oil and gas, manufacturing, health, human resources, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, retail, local government, banking, and insurance markets. The partnership will expand Proforma’s capabilities for developing and implementing workflows in the O&G (Oil & Gas), EPCI (Engineering Procurement, Construction, Installation), and IC (Industrial Construction) industries.
Proforma UK’s Managing Director, Matthew Brown, says about the partnership, “ProjecTools will enable Proforma to put into practice the processes we currently model for our O&G, EPC, and IC customers. The ProjecTools project management application suite will be an excellent complement to Proforma’s business process experience in our European and Nordic markets. Our workflow model simulations of engineering projects have consistently shown the enormous gains and cost-reductions possible if multi-user collaboration can be made seamless, errors can be eliminated and latest-state documentation can be readily located."
"Managing the huge quantity of information associated with engineering projects is a daunting task but the prescribed ProjecTools best-practices, honed over many years, encapsulated within the automated workflows will give Proforma the ability to deliver reductions in operational time and cost overheads for engineering projects, via an off-the-shelf SaaS solution.”
ProjecTools Channel Manager, Nathan Niehuus says about the Partnership, “Proforma’s expertise in process improvement and workflow automation makes them a great partner. The process control and automation void is becoming more apparent as the amounts of project information grow with the increasing size and complexity of engineering projects. Even more exciting is having Matthew Brown become the face of ProjecTools in Europe –in our limited time together, I’ve come to respect his knowledge and skill. Together, Proforma and ProjecTools can fill the gap in the European market.”
