Propane GasGenie Introductory Offer to Small Retailers Creates Widespread Interest
Princeton, NJ (PRWEB) October 29, 2013 -- CEP recently announced a simple and inexpensive way for retailers to trial the innovative Propane GasGenie: For one time only they can purchase a sample quantity of 10 units at the price/unit associated with the standard minimum quantity of 25. This means they can test the market to see how well the product sells at virtually no risk.
Following the announcement small retailers across the US have signed up to buy their first quantity. Peter Frank from CEP says: ‘we have wanted to get the smaller retailers involved in selling the product for some time. Getting a sale should be easy when a customer comes in to refill their propane tank complaining about running out in the middle of grilling. It seems that this introductory offer is just what was needed to get the ball rolling’
The Propane GasGenie claims to be the only propane gauge that actively warns the user in plenty of time to finish cooking what’s on the grill. It works in an entirely different way to other gauges: The product uses temperature sensors to detect small changes of temperature in the tank wall that indicate a low gas condition. This allows the product to actively warn the user, by playing a short tune when the gas is getting low but with still enough gas left to finish cooking. It requires no installation, simply clipping magnetically onto the propane tank wall.
The product has been selling exclusively on Amazon and sales continue to rise. And now the retail market is showing a growing interest too. CEP has had wholesale orders from all over the US including California, Illinois, Massachusetts and Texas. All the new customers have said that they are confident in the product and the new offer tipped the balance to place an order.
CEP has also announced that they have added a support page for retailers with a new section on their website http://www.propanegasgenie.com/retailers dedicated to helping them build sales. This page includes downloadable Point of Sale literature as well as explanations of how the product works and what its main advantages are compared to the competition. As time goes on there will be further support and news in this section.
Peter Frank again: ‘There is a huge demand for a gauge that really works. Until now the most commonly used gauge has been the pressure type, but they can only give an indication just minutes before the gas actually runs out. This simply adds to the frustration experienced by the chef. The patented Propane GasGenie is the only product that can actively warn the user in time to finish cooking.’
Any retailers interested in further information should fill in the form on the new retailer’s page.
